Ask Anita - I have been a longtime blog reader of yours that wants to fall off fence but doesn't like hotels. When are you back hosting at home again?

Well, that is a topical question! First of all, thank you for being brave and "falling off" the fence! I don't take that step that men take for granted at all. Today I was with my roommate at his wrist Doctor's appointment. This was the day of reckoning as he has been off work for 12 weeks and he was hoping to be given the doctor's letter or release allowing him to return to work today. Almost as if on quieu this morning, I received four new Appointment Request forms from those many "fence fallers."

I will tell you that I am so ready for him to return to work as this summer has been so difficult for me. I am exhausted living my life out of a suitcase and working around the clock Mondays thru Fridays 8am thru 11pm and Saturdays 9:30am thru 9pm. So yes, the doctor gave him the long awaited letter of return and he returns to work tomorrow Wednesday, August 8th! I have pre-paid for this week and next week at hotels so I am still hosting at hotels this week and next week but I expect to be hosting at home starting Monday August 20th and after. I have been hosting at home on Saturdays already as he goes to see his dad that day.

I have noticed my temperment has been a bit off this summer. I am a little less patient than in the past and a lot more anxious. So I am pledging that the changes back to hosting at my place will be great for my attitude! Because many clients have asked that I still host some evenings nearer to Woodfield Mall, I will be hosting one week a month at hotel to allow my evening clients a chance to see me in evening. I do know that many gentlemen cannot get away during the day so I am going to be hosting at home for three weeks and one week at hotel every month (to allow for evening clients).

I do want to thank all of those gentlemen that took a chance on me even though they aren't comfortable at hotels. It is much appreciated by me! For those of you exhaling a sign of relief that I am returning back to my place, thank you for your patience. For those of you that prefer hotels, at least I am going to regularly provide that option once a month. Please watch the Schaumburg calendar as I will try to make a notation within the next week for the month of Schaumburg as to which week hotel will be.

My pup and my kitty have missed me much though and I do believe some of my agitation is related to not having my pup with me. She calms me down just by laying next to me in bed at night. Studies have shown that the presence of a dog can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise and playfulness, and even improve your cardiovascular health.

Hugs and voraciously hungry kisses,

Anita
